Personal Power
When you develop personal power, you are able to fulfill your greatest potential in your Kung Fu and in life. Personal power is developed when you see setbacks and failures as strengths and opportunities to learn. For example if you are beaten in a sparring match or tournament don't take that as a failure but simply look at it as a learning experience. Simply ask yourself why you got beaten and learn form it. It is better to spar with an opponent better than you so you can learn from his lessons.

Personal power is also developed when you stop trying and simply do; when you stay in the moment and put aside all outcomes; when you stop being self-critical and accept your true self; when you risk to be different; when you see the spiritual connection in all that you do; when you see the joy of life. It is best not to seek power but let power come to you because seeking power will drain you of the power you already have.

Take your Kung Fu training and life with enthusiasm and do not be overly worried about what happens. By tuning in and listening to the human body you can tap in to your personal power without effort. So keep training your Kung Fu because you love training and not because you have to and personal power will come to you.
